How to reach support
Email support@syncstring.app for SyncString beta help. Include the provider involved, the affected account email, the page or feature you were using, what you expected, and what happened. Do not send Apple app-specific passwords, OAuth tokens, API keys, recovery codes, payment-card details, or full contact/calendar exports by email.
Connection and backup help
For account connection problems, include the provider name, the provider account email, the time of the last attempt, and the redacted result shown in the portal. For backup or restore-preview questions, include the backup title and status shown in the Backups tab. SyncString support can use those records to investigate without asking you to send private contact names, event titles, or provider response bodies.
Write-back and event-deletion help
For a failed or paused provider change, include the operation or audit identifier, provider, account, displayed item title, local time, and per-item status. Do not email event contents, contact fields, OAuth tokens, or screenshots containing private data. An outcome unknown create is intentionally paused while SyncString checks its durable managed marker; do not repeat the create manually through SyncString.
Calendar-event deletion exists only for a specifically selected event or selected set at Google or Microsoft. Already-gone items are reported as already gone. No contact-delete path exists, iCloud remains read-only, and a missing, capped, or partial read never authorizes deletion. Calendar backup files contain availability metadata and cannot restore full deleted-event content; the pre-delete audit record is history, not an automatic provider restore.
Account, contact data, and deletion
To request deletion of your SyncString beta portal records, email support@syncstring.app from the email address you use with SyncString, or use the Account tab to request privacy or deletion help. We may verify your identity before acting. Removing a connection inside SyncString deletes the saved SyncString authorization for that provider; it does not delete contacts, calendars, or events at Apple, Google, or Microsoft.
Deletion requests may cover beta-interest records, portal configuration, saved provider authorization, contact-index records used for Contact Groups, backups that have not already expired, and support history where deletion is legally permitted. Turning contact indexing off from Stored data or Contact Groups deletes stored contact inventory and related sync tokens immediately. That purge retains provider credentials, backups, suppression entries, and audit history. We may retain limited records when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or proof that a request was completed.

Beta response expectations
SyncString is still in private beta. We aim to review support requests promptly, but response times are not guaranteed and may vary by issue type. Production service-level commitments, paid support terms, and enterprise incident processes will be documented separately before general availability.
