Agreement and scope

These terms apply to the SyncString public website, beta-interest communications, and authenticated private-beta portal. Portal access is limited to approved personal pilot accounts and people with active organization membership or administrator access. Beta 1 includes the provider actions described below, but does not promise general availability or a paid subscription. Supplemental commercial, privacy, or organization terms may apply before materially different services are activated.

Beta access and pricing

Beta 1 access is free. No payment card is required for beta access, and paid checkout remains disabled until Qualy Studios completes live Stripe setup, tax verification, webhook verification, production entitlement testing, and any required legal updates. Published post-beta prices are planning information and may change before general availability.

Provider access and confirmed changes

You are responsible for connecting only provider accounts you are authorized to use, reviewing the provider permissions requested, and complying with provider terms and applicable laws. With a write-capable Google or Microsoft grant, SyncString may create or update contacts and calendar events only through an itemized preview and confirmation flow. Calendar-event deletion requires an event you explicitly select, an explicit occurrence-or-series choice for recurring events, a pre-delete audit record, and the environment’s provider-delete safety switch. No contact deletion exists in Beta 1. iCloud remains read-only.

A missing record is never a delete signal. SyncString must stop a write pass when its prerequisite read is capped, server-limited, partial, or otherwise incomplete. A provider grant does not guarantee that every item can be changed; provider permissions, concurrent edits, rate limits, and service failures may pause or reject an operation.

Contact Groups require a separate in-product contact-indexing opt-in before SyncString stores contact records for matching. When you use Contact Groups for email, messaging, or outreach, SyncString prepares recipients for your own mail or messaging app; you remain responsible for consent, opt-out handling, and message content.

Backups and recovery limits

SyncString creates the supported backup described before a provider write pass, but a backup is not an automatic rollback. Calendar backups contain availability metadata rather than complete event content and cannot recreate a deleted event. Restore into Apple, Google, or Microsoft and duplicate merge execution are not included in Beta 1.

Beta and forward-looking information

SyncString is under development. Website descriptions may include goals, planned capabilities, prototypes, or features being tested. Features, providers, pricing, timing, compatibility, and availability may change, and no website statement is a guarantee or binding release commitment.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or automate access in a way that burdens the service, misrepresent affiliation with SyncString or Qualy Studios, or use the site unlawfully.

Intellectual property

The SyncString name, website, design, copy, graphics, and other content are owned by Qualy Studios or its licensors and protected by applicable law. You may view and share public links, but may not reproduce or commercialize the content without permission.

Third-party names and services

Third-party provider names are used only to describe interoperability. Qualy Studios is not endorsed by or affiliated with Apple, Google, Microsoft, or Stripe unless expressly stated. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and may change independently.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qualy Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from website use. Nonwaivable rights remain unaffected.

Changes and contact

We may revise the website and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions may be sent to support@syncstring.app.
